Which file formats do you provide?

We supply the formats your machines or partners need, most often DST for commercial machines, PES for Brother and Baby Lock, JEF for Janome, and EXP, VP3 or XXX for others. Store designs usually ship as a bundle of all common formats.

Can’t software convert my image automatically?

Auto-digitizing tools exist, but they rarely handle density, underlay and stitch order well, which leads to puckering and thread breaks. We digitize by hand and test-stitch, because a file that looks right on screen can still fail on fabric.

Can I sell embroidery designs of characters or brand logos?

No. Embroidery files of characters, sports teams or brand logos infringe copyright and trademarks, and marketplaces remove them. We only digitize original designs, or logos you own or have permission to use.

How long does digitizing take?

A simple logo is usually digitized and tested within a few working days. Detailed artwork, appliqué or large collections take longer, and we agree a schedule before starting.

Who owns the digitized files?

You do. Stitch files, source files and thread charts are yours once delivered. For designs you sell, you choose the licence your buyers receive, such as personal use only or small-business use.
